Return Policy

Thank you for shopping at Star Quilt Store! We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your order, please review our return policy below.

Eligibility for Returns:

  • Items are eligible for return within 30 days of the delivery date.
  • To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition (not cut or altered).
  • Quilting fabrics that have been cut from the bolt or custom-made items are not eligible for return unless there is a defect or error in the order.
  • Final Sale items, such as clearance or discounted products, are not eligible for return or exchange.

How to Return an Item:

  1. Contact our customer service team at support@starsquilt.com within 30 days of receiving your order to initiate the return.
  2. Provide your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
  3. Our team will provide you with instructions on how to return your items and a return authorization number (RA#), if applicable.
  4. Pack your item securely in its original packaging, including any tags or labels.
  5. Ship the return package to the address provided in the return instructions.

Return Shipping:

  • Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong item or damaged goods).
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for returns. Star Quilt Store is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.

Refunds:

  • Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it to ensure it meets our return requirements.
  • If approved, your refund will be processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.
  • Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error.
  • If your return is not approved (e.g., item is damaged, altered, or used), we will notify you, and the item may be returned to you at your expense.

Exchanges:

  • We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item for a different product, please follow the return process for the original item and place a new order for the desired item.

Defective or Damaged Items:

  • If you receive a defective or damaged item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will assist you with a return, exchange, or refund.
  • You may be asked to provide photos of the damaged or defective item for verification.

Gift Returns:

  • If you received an item as a gift and would like to return it, please contact our customer service team for assistance. The gift recipient will need the order number to process the return.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • The following items are non-returnable:
    • Cut fabric
    • Custom-made quilts or personalized items
    • Clearance or final sale items
    • Gift cards
